How do I prepare for a transfer from one MID to another?

You must follow the below instructions EXACTLY.  We will ATTEMPT to transfer the customer names/phone numbers/email addresses and the appointments.  Customer history (orders) is not transferable.

1. Export your inventory from the old Clover account and import the inventory to the new Clover account. 

2. Add employees to the new account using the Clover Web dashboard or the Employees app on the new Clover account (device).  The employees that are added MUST HAVE THE EXACT SAME SPELLING AS THE OLD ACCOUNT. NO EXCEPTIONS OR CHANGES ARE ALLOWED.

3. Install the Salon Scheduler on the new account.  Find the app on the clover device and tap on it and choose the Clover account and wait for the scheduler to display the blank blue screen.

4. Email help@appheaven.us with the business name of the old account and the business name of the new account as well as a contact for follow up instructions.

5. We will then start a transfer process that will take approximately 3-5 hours. We will contact you at the contact address you provided in step 4.  

FOLLOW UP:

After we finish the transfer and contact you, you will need to:

1. check the appointment transfer for accuracy and make any changes or additions of appts that were missed 

2. add employee schedules 

3. logout of your phone and computer devices by tapping the "3 line" menu->refresh->logout|reset app.  (this step is NOT optional.  you MUST do a reset). You will log back in using the new token we will provide.

4. Update your online booking link to the new one we will provide.

5. After several weeks, you will need to uninstall the scheduler from the old clover account so that the billing will stop on the old account.
